Do you ever have a problem where the answer is staring at you in the face?

Well i have been looking for a particular sound on one of my resos and... well after a conversation last week with a forum member here the penny dropped

it been using PB strings on my resos and the sound was not quite what i could hear in my head so

Nickel strings were it so i have just ordered some Michael messer newtone s the nickel type sure it will be sorted

Newtones are hard to get here in belguim i have to drive to amtserdam to buy them in person

any way strings direct i have discovered now so thats cool

yes so im sure these nickels will give me what im after

Can anyone help him? It's a hell of a drive just for a set of strings.

I've been getting my strings in the mail for years now - and when you start buying them in bulk, you save a TON of money over time.
