Fender Vibroverb 63 Re-issue

Postby wanderingyankee » Wed Nov 19, 2008 7:21 am

I bought one new in 1992. Still have it but has not been played in over 10 years.

What are these worth today? Should I modify it?

I used to have one of those and am really, Really, REALLY sorry I sold it.
It has a better vibrato than the much bally-hoo'd Fender VibroKing (which I also owned).
I'd go for quality tubes and upgrade the speakers as well.
If you're really into it - a Mercury Magnetic output tranny to boot, but the stock one ain't bad.

Great amp - great overdrive/break-up tone

It's worth $200. Do you want to sell it?

I need to make this into a sticker and put it on my amp. Or maybe one of my guitars.
