Anybody playing a baritone electric ?

Messing around with one lately and it gets some really cool creamy sounds or a Link Wray vibe when overdriven.

I have it tuned ADGCEA

Cool...can you post an mp3 our youtube vid? would love to hear it.

I was with Catfish Keith yesterday. He an Penny are great. Anyway, he's got an NRP Tricone Baritone. He had it tuned to open B flat (like open D just way down to bflat)...that thing is just primal. Might have to get one..:)

I love Catfish Keith's "Dark Was The Night, Cold Was The Ground" on that baritone tricone!

I would love to play in Open B flat. That would be so cool!

I've been keeping an eye out for an old Fender Bass VI for a while. My arsenal could really use a baritone electric. It'd suit my singing voice. Actually, that's probably what the next guitar I buy will be. If I can't find a Bass VI for a decent price, I'll probably get one of the new Danelectro '63 Baritones.

I was disappointed in the Dano-- I bought the Italia which seems to have a much stronger build, wilkinson hardware including a real quality bridge and better tonal range

The Dano is prettier tho
