Anyone ever use them? They have them on StewMac http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics ... ckups.html
I've been looking for some hotter Humbuckers for my Les Paul and these seem like they might be a nice option, but I don't know anybody who has used them. Any opinions?

Or perhaps suggestions of other alnico humbuckers that have more than 10k for output?

That 10K is the DC resistance figure of the coil. Doesn't exactly correlate with output, as the resistance is affected not only by the length but also the gauge of the wire, and the strength of the magnets also affects the output.

What kind of pickups are on your Les Paul? Mine have 498T's and they are as hot as any pickups I have ever played with the possible exception of Dimarzio Super Distortions and still I find them close.

It has Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pick-ups in it right now. They sound nice, but I need a bit more "oomph". Plus, I have a passive overdrive thing that I want to put in it and it requires pickups with at least 10k.
