G&L ASAT SPECIAL TRIBUTE

couldn't resist... looks like it's been played twice (at most) and the tweed case obviously hasn't left the house EVER (still SMELLS new!)

can't wait to take it through it's paces at rehearsal (which be some time, as our bass player is on holiday :( )

Jaybee: I have a buddy who had one of those, with a different finish. That piece is serious as a heart attack...great instrument. That thing is big time. It will not limit you in any way,and should inspire you big time. Good pick,me bucko.

jeffl - thx, I know the guitars, I had one years ago, but stupid me traded it in together with another guitar to buy a '70's Jaguar - by the time I realized the Jaguar was not MY kind of instrument, the G&L was sold...

You talkin' 'bout a Jaguar with six strings, or a Jaguar with four wheels?

I had one of the latter for a while before having to concede it wasn't my kind of instrument, either. It was a '54 XK-120 that was all there, but really needed a body-off-frame restoration, and I wasn't up to the job as I was just starting out in practice. I'd say it's one of those million-dollar show cars by now.
