Last feb 15th at the Docs I weighed in at 276lbs!!!and was wearing a tight 44 inch waist pant, and was feeling run down, and the weight was the problem, I took charge of the situation, and thru knowledge and eating healthy, This morning April 18th I weighed in at 228lbs, and Iam wearing a loose 38 inch waist pant, and a tight 36!!!Thats a 48lb loss and 3 pant sizes, in 62 days!!!!My Goal has been 225, why ??I just picked that number!!but Iam only 3 lbs away!!
Anyway I felt a big difference at last saturdays show!!more energy, more confident, hitting some hot licks!!and getting some nice looks from the women folk!! Iam feeling great!!! and Iam proud of myself once again!! So we are the most valuable piece of eq.we own, need to take care of it!!

I've been there 601.

I lost 100 lbs about 10 years ago, and have managed to keep it off since then. I went from 288 to 185 in about 9 months. Nothin' but eating right and ESPECIALLY excercising.

I know how it feels to get that weight off and be active again. Like a new lease on life.

But all the diet and excercise won't get a chance until a person gets in the right frame of mind. It's all in the head, actually.

I'm proud for you. The difference in the way you feel should be enough motivation to stick with it and keep it off.

...I've recently allowed my weight to creep back up over 200, but I'm getting it off now. Down 8 lbs since Monday.

...it's a never ending thing.

You've got me beat now by a couple of pounds, but I've been slowly losing, too. I've got to punch new holes in most of my belts. They've got long floppy ends hanging loose. I've got a "skinny" belt I made a long while back on today. My pants are getting to where they bunch pretty badly around the waist.

BTW, 601, I saw 229 on the scales yesterday morning. First time under 230 in a long while. (I think I remember 265 about a year ago, but that's a bit fuzzy.) I'm coming along behind you! :D

Haven't weighed myself in a while, but 230 is probably about where I'm at. That's pretty tubby at 5'9.

My top weight was about 280, many years ago. My lowest was about 180, while hiking the Appalachian Trail. My build won't really go much lower than that, regardless of "hight and weight" norms. Unless, I guess, I got really, really sick. (Built like a keg)

Down from 250 a couple Months ago.
250 lbs is the heaviest I've ever been.

All I did was kick the Narcotic Pain Medication that I had been taking since my accident in 2002.
I'm 6'-4" and have a lanky frame so, 230 still looks "fat" on me.
I would like to see 200 lbs. someday.
