I'm sure the pedal is the most conveniant answer, cause I wouldnt be hauling that thing back n forth for practices. If I ever come across one we'll see what happens. I'll let ya'll know what I decide on... and maybe put up a sound clip for once.

Mine may have been defective.
I bought it new and it was very Noisy and thin sounding.

You would think that for the price of those things, the QC would be better.

these are real nice too. I head the 2x12 version at the NAMM show the year they introduced it. It is a rotating speaker only so you'll still need a guitar head or speaker out to drive it. It is much more portable than the old Leslies fo sho!

yeah, the one in the picture is supposed to be a lot lighter than the wooden ones. I'm waitin to hear back from a guy in new york about one like that. I'm thinkin it would pair up pretty nice with my hot-rod deville.

And yes, I'd probably still buy ona those amp cart things that have wheels if I were to ever have to move it.

Talked to the man with the Leslie today finally. My phone ran out of minutes last week and I never got a chance to hear from him. He told me that the amp powers on, but has nothing to plug it into at the moment. He said he will be travelling to FL to visit his father (who has an old Hammond) in Ft. Myers around April.... :D whatayaknow. He said he'd be willing to take it along to see if its working, and how well its working (to see what we can settle on as a reasonable price. Seems like a decent guy who's not looking to make a big production about making a lot of money off it. It was given to him a long time ago, and he doesnt use it.

I'll keep you guys updated.
