Killing sustain

Hey...I had flatwounds on my reso a couple years ago...they sure did sound deader...but also help me sound better as I was learning the ropes of the reso guitar :oops: ...never even thought about trying them again...thanks! :shock: 8)

Tried a piece of thinwall 1" dia copper tube in the past, yes, it dulls the sustain. It also puts black copper oxide deposits on your finegers and strings.
