MXR analog delay

Postby guitarslim101 » Tue Sep 19, 2006 12:53 am

Anyone ever use one? I've been looking for an analog delay for everyday use to replace my tape delay (well, not replace, but I only want to use the tape delay for recording purposes). Does anyone know if it does the self-oscillation/space-ship taking off thing?

you might be thinking of a Flanger for that space ship thing.

MXR one of the best compressors I have experienced.
Keeley is another.

Keeley is a higher end comp. MXR is the standard are are (should)be measured by.
I sent my MXR off to analogman for a tweak. came back more awesome.

check put his site. there is alot of good info on it re: this subject and more.

I settled on a Maxon ad-999 (it does the space-ship thing)...I didn't want to take the risk of the old Reticon BBD chips in the MXR. From what I've read, they can be noisy and aren't the most reliable chips in the analog world.
