12-string nuts and saddle

Postby savage » Sun Aug 20, 2006 7:47 pm

Is there a place that sells pre-slotted bone nuts for 12-strings? I'd imagine They'd just have different sizes like they do for 6-strings. I wanna replace the plastic nut and saddle on my silvertone and I thought maybe I could save some time if I didn't have to cut the nut myself.

Also, is there any particular adhesive that would work best to glue the bridge back down? Its come loose and I thought I'd ask before I just grabbed some kind of wood glue that might not adhere to the finish.

I've heard of people using Gorilla glue. Not sure how it worked, just heard of it being used. Might wanna research it first. But that stuff does hold everything.

Hide glue is the traditional glue for holding bridges down, but Gorilla glue should do the trick.
