Looking for another Acoustic Guitar....

Postby grady » Tue Jul 25, 2006 3:36 am

I need a backup Acoustic Guitar.

I'm looking for a Cutaway Acoustic with good Electronics.
Must be American-Made Brand.
Smaller Body Either 00,OM or 000

I want this Guitar for Rock, not Blues.

Any Suggestions ??

I'm thinking of Selling or Trading my Washburn ES-20, G&L Strat, and a Fender Pro Jr.

Bro, I have witnesses to a very adamant declaration by YOU that you "WOUND NOT GET RID OF" your ES20!
Sell or trade the others and save the ES! Ya know you'll miss the hell outta it!
Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE MY ES-20?

Yeh, it's a tough decision.
Should I sell the National or the Washburn ??
Tough Decision.

There's another ES-20 on Ebay right now with a messed up Volume knob.
I can't help but wonder, Who keeps knocking the Volume Knob off of these Guitars ??

I may just wait until Tax time and buy a nice Washburn Acoustic or a used Taylor or something.

On the subject of Taylors, have you considered the T5 series? I've heard some nice things about those.

I stopped by my local store on the way to my Gig today picked up a Samick D-8CE used for $80.00 !!

My local store sells used for next to nothing.
But hey, they also give you next to nothing for Trade-ins...LOL !!

It has a Solid Cedar Top, Rosewood Back & Sides, Fishman Active Electronics.

The bridge needed repaired so, it's on a Table with Clamps on it right now.
You know me, I buy Guitars for a good price, repair them Professionally and make great guitars out of them.

They had a new Taylor 314ce.
I liked it really well.
May pick one of those up soon.
