Experience with Ayers guitars?

Postby backdoorman » Wed May 17, 2006 10:14 am

Does anyone have experience with Ayers guitars, good or bad? These Oz-designed, Vietnam-manufactured acoustics are reasonably priced for solid-wood acoustics and seem to have a good reputation for value for money. They have a plain 12-frets-to-the-body slothead in mahogany that looks like it would be a sweet little blues box.

I have played one of those and they are very nice guitars. I have seen good reviews of various Ayers models and haven't heard anything bad about them.

Thanks LG. That seems to be the consensus.

I'm GASing for one of those 12-fretters, but can't try one because tit's not a stocked model here in Japan. I don't think I could go wrong for the price and might just order one for special import.
