How do you read these?

I know a bit of you use this site, so how exactly do you read these scale charts? Thanks in advance!

When you load that up, it's showing you all the notes of a C major triad on the neck - the 1,3,5 of the scale make up a major triad.

So, if you want to play a C chord, pick a 1, a 3, and a 5, and you've got it.

It tells you what notes you need to play down in the 'details' section, under 'intervals'.

For scales, play a 1, and then play a 2 that's slightly higher and then a 3, etc.

Its...like...a picture of a guitar neck.

The 6 long lines represent the strings...the shorter lines represent frets.

The dots are notes for the chord or scale in question - basically, where you put your fingers.

Well Dan, Rusty's description is more along the lines of what I was lookin for. haha. And I figured out what you described pretty fast.
