Hi Folks,

Beautiful folks, I'm hammering out alot of "hard" rock "metally" stuff with the poeple I'm jammin to classic rock songs by artists like, Thorogood, Clapton, ZZtop, led zep, Heart (remember them-lol), Stray cats, Truimph etc etc. But there's one band that I'm finding abit hard to "get it decent", that is Van Halen. I find alot of tabs with their music ok but making it sound like Eddie is an impossible task?????He's all over the place-lol. What should I do??? Any suggestions would be helpful. Oh btw, I reckon I'm only playing about 60% of their solos accurately and improvising the rest as somene once said "if you can make it sound convincing" it's alright.

cheers
multi

Not sure why Heart is a (remember them-lol). Catch them on tour, they're as good as they've ever been. Annie's voice is stunning and the band is real tight.

Anyway, what do you mean make it sound like EVH? If you mean the tone, well, good luck. People blow a lot of time and money chasing the brown sound. If it's the songs (my assumption as it's in this forum and not EQ, heh), then you should already be on the road if you can play those other bands. Do you use real tabs or internet tabs?
