What's the secret to being such a bad ass?

I should let James answer that one, but mebbe he was born under a bad sign, lol! BTW, Nico, why do you post such statements that can possibly lead to strife. You obviously have a little different sense of humor, but why not stick to the blues if the intent of a post cannot be easily ascertained...?

You can't. There's only one. But a cool hat will get you half-way there.

Nico, follow the example of James. Spend less time posting and being snarky on the internet, and be a stand up guy with a proper grown up adult life, who plays guitar.

And you will notice James rarely hangs around the internet fishing for compliments.

Oh yeah, AND get a hat....

Might help if you put ferric chloride circuit board etching compound all over your shiny reso, too.

Guy, before you go getting upset at me, cause I know you are, you should read your PM. My post about the pros not going on the net and forums was by no means directed at you. Now go and re-read what I wrote in the thread, then go and read your PM's.

I don't know you, I have no idea who you are or what you do. But obviously I struck a nerve with you or something. I'm not a pro, I was simply stating that you don't see many pros on boards, that's all.

Was not directed at you. Was more directed at me. I spend to much F'N time on the net. So let's square this away right quick. I don't come over here to fight or argue. I like this place. This isn't the same crowd and is a friendly place to be unlike some other guitar forums (IGS) cough cough.

So, I'll say it loud and clear one final time. My comment was by no means directed at you. Again, I have no idea who you are or what you do. Finally, I'm not a pro but will always strive to be.

Poke fun all you want man. I can take it. Either I made this guy mad or this is some sort of a joke. I'm not a professional player, LOL.

Or maybe there's another James "HamBone" Farrell

The "Hambone and Nico Trio".
I kind o' like the sound of that. Maybe you two should play together.
What about " Hambone Nico and the slideshredders"??

Welp, Nico has seemed to disappear. He seemed a bit upset about my comment in the other thread, but if he chooses to want to hide, rather than confront me about it, that's his business. I'm a no bs up front guy.

I don't play chip on the shoulder like so many women I know. You got a problem, lets work it out in words, if that don't work, let's blindfold ourselves and have a knife fight. LOL.

Now I didn't think I was that well liked and respected over here. Anyhow, take a look at this new F'N hat coming my way. I told the lady in OZ who's building it to put a rush on it because my ability to write songs on a professional level is suffereing without a proper Porkpie hat.

JF, yer gonna have a hard time findin' some shoes to go with that, lol! Hey, don't worry about Nico. He's obviously pretty new here, and confesses to being kicked off other boards, so his style is an issue. He's either a bona fide prick, or else he's got communication disabilities, but mebbe he'll figure out that we like smooth sailin' around here. He might be fine, given some time & slack. Best wishes with yer music.
