Johnson amps

Hey guys,

Any of you have any experience with a Johnson Blue Line amp? I hear good things about those. They're solid state, but supposedly well built with a nice fat tone.

...

God, I should really stay off the internet... The internet gives me GAS. ;-)

Hey Smurf

I've heard a few people say good things about their tone too...i.e. "good tone for the bucks". Unfortunately we only have one Johnson dealer in town and you're lucky to find even a single Johnson guitar hanging on their racks. So there's no chance I'll get to hear one anytime soon.

I played a 2X12 Johnson..I dont know if it was the Blue Line or not, but it had a great warm full tone..I really liked it...But I like my Super-Sonic better

The only Johnson amp I've ever played was something similar to the Line6 amps (digital effects and what-not) with a tube pre-amp. When you didn't have any of the effects on, it wasn't that bad for a hybrid.
