Band Names

Ok for the ultimate quandry for a new band....name suggestions...we are what I like to call a rock-n-roll blues band. We have 2 guitarist, a sax player, a female lead, (but I don't do lead on all the songs), 90% covers such as Pride and Joy, Feeling allright, crossroads, red house, etc. My last band with a simlar song list was shadowcasters...I loved that name, but I'm the only member remaining in this band of that band so nobody's real hip on that....my drummer, who's as I mentioned above is a little anal, picked azul monster and the rest of us are luk-warm on that as was a couple of other forumns I posted to.....anybody have any thoughts?

Azul Monster sucks. Ditch that one.

taking a page from Kenny Neals' book .....how about "HooDoo Moon" ..
"I Smell A Rat " was always one I thought about ....
my daughter was trying to think of a name for her semi-punk band once while driving past a bunch of chain restuaurants and came up with "The BobLobsters"......

My three most recent bands were, respectively, "Ridin' the Blinds," "Last Flight Out," and "Smokehouse." Welcome to any of 'em, or variations, if ya like. But it's always a problem. Been sitting in with a band here (I just moved a few months ago) called the "Badlands Boogie Band." I hate the name...too cumbersome...but it's not my band. Another local band whose name has merit is "The Oddz." Good band, too. The name is the first thing people see/hear/read...and the first thing their friends ask about...so it's gotta get attention. Now that I've muddied the waters (pun intentional, but I won't do it again!), I'll be on my way.

BlueRule - Bluzroolz - Babyblues - Baby's Got the Blues - TrueBlues - I dunno, it's just fun trying to make up names. I enjoyed it.

Like that Judds song, Rico, "Maybe Your Baby's Got The Blues".

Let us know what you came up with. I know a band that has the name "Metal Health" I just love that.

I was in a band for a while called "The Hired Guns Blues Band".

I really liked that name, and I'm liable to use it again someday.

I could also see naming a band after the harmonica player FROM the Hired Guns - Tattoo Charlie.(Chuckles is dead now, so he ain't using it...)

Grady, cold shower immediately, you're getting over excited again!

Name - 90% covers - but some of your own - Under The Covers. No? OK.
