I agree with the Custom Shop Texas Specials. They're awesome for the blues, but in my opinion, they can be used for a lot of other things too. I like em a lot.

P90's all the way.

but I use a Super D on the neck and coil tap it. has "almost" the same punch as a P90 when its tapped. atleast on a Fender PTPR amp.

I am definitely a mini-humbucker man..I play a Firebird, and nothing hs the bite of a Mini..IMO....Bloozman

I used Gibson P94s on my Sheraton, they are truly great, There the same as p90s except they will fit the humbucker trim and have more color, I used gold rim with black center, looks great as well, they also come gold and cream,
