Thumpin' on Junior

In praise of simplicity. Just spent an enjoyable 3 hours thumpin' my Les Paul Jr straight into a VC508 on 10-- played everything from Robert Johnson to Bob marley with stops along the way for the stones, zz top andHubert Sumlin licks. Nuthin like a nasty p90

I totally agree. P90s pups are my favorite.

Yep! I quite agree about the P-90s.

The VC508's got too much gain for my taste. The op amps on the input stage are like a Tube Screamer you can't turn down.

Now and then a bunch of nasty, fuzzy distortion's just what you want, though.
