I posted this on another topic but I thought that I would start a new topic about it.
I just picked up a Johnson JR-400 "Nashville" model roundneck resonator in "like new" condition for $135 (gig bag included). I sure didn't need it but it was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. It's in the mahogany finish. Back when Johnson first started importing resonators they had two models, the JR-200 "Chicago Blues" and the JR-400 "Nashville." The JR-200 retailed for $299 and the JR-400 retailed for $499. I had a JR-400 way back when. It was a pretty fair sounding guitar. The JR-200 was made in China and the JR-400 was made in Korea.
Here's what the JR-400 looks like:

I don't know how it sounds. It was an Ebay find. It hasn't arrived yet.

It arrived. I hated it so I re-sold it on ebay. It didn't sound very good.
I ordered a Gold Tone PBR mahogany reso. It should arrive in a week.

I was on my way home today after dropping off three strats for fret dressing, stopped in to a pawn shop and found the cutest little off yellow strat hanging in the window...... and yep... it followed me home. $150 squire.... but who cares... I'll pretty much replace everything in it anyway. I didn't really need it but GAS got me again......
