It wouldn't hurt to contact the other bidder and let him know. I am sure he was contacted by the scammer as well. Not necessary of course, but a nice gesture.

Sure, it's called a "Bid Retraction"
Just tell them that you entered the wrong amount,
for Example "Too many Zeros. I meant to type $200.00 and accidentally typed $2000.00"

See what I mean ???

Thanks Mickey,

I shop Ebay every day.
You wouldn't believe some of the deals I gat on everything from Authentic Hockey,Baseball and Football Jerseys, Trading Cards (you know, Baseball,Football, Hockey) for me & my Son to Toys,Electronics, games, etc.

I know my way around Ebay like I know my way around my own house.

You can buy brand new Items with the Tags still on them for next to nothing.
It beats the hell outta going to the Mall.
The best thing about it is, you can get EXACTLTY what you want.

Yes, I love Ebay.

Yeah Grady, it looks pretty cool! Just what someone w/ OCD needs! LMAO! I used it once several years ago to buy some coin sets but it has changed and grown substantially since! I picture myself setting my alarm clock for odd hours of the night to be up for the countdown of an auction!
I have a feeling I could end up w/ a buncha wierd crap!

I received comfirmation from Ebay that they received copies of what was sent to me and that they'd do what they can!
Funny thing is that I checked my in box at "My Ebay" and there WAS a message from the scammer there as well! I heard nothing back from him after I blasted him via E mail.
I have the current winning bid for the other ES w/ the repair at the vol. knob since the seller has a return policy. I have no plan to go as high as I did on the last one though.

Mickey,

I'd advise not to keep bidding that ES up, wait until the last 15 seconds.

Looks like it's gonna go over what I'm willing to pay for a "B stock" w/ a repair! Oh well (again)!

Mickey,

Stick a Schatten on the cone of your SS, and blend that with its neck PU. There will be other ES20's available in the future......I promise.
