Mickey,

Yeah, I just noticed that You won it. Congrats!! I suggest that you phone Jeff at PHILL, and ask for extra packing inside the case around the headstock. I got a guitar from them that arrived with a broken headstock that was shippped via DHL, which was replaced, but I had to pay return shipping. Not much chance of an ES20 replacement.
When you get it, start looking around for a chrome 'coller' for under that volume knob, try Radio Shack, etc., or if you're handy you might be able to make one yourself.
Enjoy,

Crow,
I attached a note with my PayPal order askin for extra padding and I'll give him a call on Monday to confirm!
Just so happens I have a brushed stainless shim that should be just the ticket to cover that blem. along w/ a cool skull vol. knob! LOL

Excellent Mickey!

I am Very Anxious to hear what you think comparisonwise between the SS and ES. I'm sure they will sound different, biscuit vs. spider.
BTW, what did the SS cost you, if you don't mind my asking?

I think it was around $350.00 and in my book, worth every dime!

Thanx Grady!
Hopefully the fix at the vol. knob is the only flaw! The seller has a return policy so if it ain't what he says he'll be buy'n it back!
It comes w/ a HSC and I got it for just over $620.00 so I'm pretty jazzed at da moment!
I've sure had a blast w/ my SS so I look fwd to having both spider and biscuit w/ pick ups now!
Hope to have it by next weekend! I'll call the seller on Mon. and if he hasn't sent it yet I may up the shipping to get it here sooner! Patience is NOT a virtue w/ me!

If you ever do get accused, I think we can help get you off, Grady.

LOL !!!

I appreciate it Ric !!!

Man, I am really glad that Mickey got that ES-20
I know he's been wanting one for a while now.

Pretty soon, the number of BRB Members that play ES-20's will rival the number of BRB'ers that play with their Johnsons...LOL !!

Yeah, that's great!

My patience is being tried, too.

A fellow out in Kansas bought a Hammond organ like mine, with a matching tone cabinet (not a Leslie) that he didn't want, and I've been saying I'd like to have one. He's searched high and low till he found a box the thing would fit in, is working on getting it packed, and I'm about to cough up some green stuff to get it FedExed over here, along with a bit more for his time and trouble.

For anyone else with a craving for an ES, there's an ES10B on eBay, that's the other model w/o PU or cutaway........it's not mine, just a heads up.
