The rattlesnake

Hey guys. I made a slide guitar out of natural spruce pine, with a fretboard of red teak. I used one of the same body designs that I use when I make dulcimers. I woodburned fret markers onto it, and also burned decorations onto the body and fretboard. It has 3 strings, and a 27" scale. It has a piezo pickup in it, and it has a raw, biting, nasal sound that sounds really primitive and mean. I have named it the rattlesnake, due to its sound. It helps me to continue sounding like a hardcore Texan on acid ;) I am definately going to take it to an upcoming gig and pull this thang out in front of the crowd. I think I might even make a habit of playing one at a show, and then tossing it out to the crowd when I am done. That should help to promote both my music and my instruments LOL! You can hear it on my soundclick page here. Look for the song that says Demo for Electric Slide Guitar. ... dID=337853
Thanks for checking it out!
