I'm equally uncomfortable in all keys.
Singing is pretty new to me, I never claimed to be very good at it. It was even harder doing it on a big empty stage with no sound coming out of the monitors. Imagine playing an unplugged strat in a big room. Not exactly comfortable. I should quit smoking too. Oh well...

I have no criticism at all for your singing. I thought it was fine.

I think Lonewolf was just trying to give Zac some advice to help him feel more comfortable when singing.

I admire anyone that can sing and play because I just can't seem to do it although everyone laughs at me because my mouth moves when I play so it looks like I am.

I'm glad you guys like what I do, but anyone and everyone has the right to critique it, comment, say it sucks, whatever...if I put it up for people to hear I expect it...and no one should be put on the spot for doing any of the above. I'm not afraid of getting my ego bruised, it's a public forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion. It's cool with me, I'm 34 years old, I've been playing for almost 22, and I hope to play at least 22 more and keep improving at what I do the whole time. And as much as I love playing acoustic country blues, it's just a hobby for me, something I do when I have a break from my main band's busy schedule...and I know I have a lot of improving to do before I'm even remotely satisfied.

I don't think anybody got put on the spot for critiquing you. I simply disagreed with it.

Fantastic stuff mate!!!! especially "Banty Rooster". I'm still on World Wide Wait dial up, so it took about half an hour to download the clip, but it was sure worth waiting for. Theres nothing wrong with your voice mate, it's got a nice raw quality which I think suited the tune and the atmosphere. I hope you don't mind but as soon as I finished watching it I sat down and tried to copy it (I did a bloody terrible job of it by the way!!!), but I can't get that bassline going at all. Keep it coming, I wish I was in the States so I could see you live.

The roughest place to play in this town has big, efficient bouncers,so it turns out to be a pretty safe place to play (except when yer loadin' out the back door at 2 AM,you always go out in twos).
