Hey, the first time I sang onstage I thought I was going to have a panic attack. The second time, it was just one song for some school thing. They put it in a program what song I was going to do, I got up and did the wrong song. Yeah.
But, in another topic list on here they're talking about getting to a "higher plane" when you play. To me, it's alot easier getting there when it's just me. I barely have to try. :)

Zak, I think your singing's perfect for what you're singing.

It is indeed an Epiphone.
It's the MD100 model they advertize on their website, but it's made of steel (as opposed to brass, as stated on their website!) and is identical in every way but the headstock shape to the Regal. The newest Epiphones I've seen had the longer body/12th fret neck joint but mine is the 14 fret model.

Man Zak that is some great stuff. My problem is that most of the blues artists I love are dead. That old stuff has soul you just cant find too often. Keep it up and please keep producing the kind of great music (including great vocals) that you have been.
I had some of my friends listen to you and other Big Road guys on soundclick. They were blown away. Thanks for the entertainment...Delta

Thanks Zak, I'm glad you are so far away , if you lived in my town, people would accuse me of stealin' your act! that is exactly the stuff I love, after being in bands all my life, That kinda music, if yer good, and ya are, will take a pub down to a standstill for a coupla minutes! Makes people pay attention.

I got over my solo jitters years ago when I started a sideline doing Irish folk music. Could'nt get any other musos to play with me, they were unfamiliar with the set list, so I rented a small PA and did about two gigs a day (afternoon and night) 3 nights a week for the entire month of march!

The folks loved it cause it was different. and it gave em an excuse to drink more! have'nt done the Irish bit in 2 years but I still get folks telling me how much they liked it! Feels good.

Again your video has taught me things! Keep em coming.Your voice is perfect for the songs! Who does em originally? I love that stuff!lemme guess, Mance Lipscomb?

Gotta tell ya Zak, you never fail to make me wanna grab the guitar! Good teacher by example! Glad we have you! Always a resource! Thank You-Chris--Florida

Thanks guys!

I uploaded some new stuff to soundclick by the way, a couple of songs with me playing electric slide and a couple of my friends helping out on drums and upright bass, sounds kinda raw and stinky, just the way I like it.

Great job Zac.

That made me sit down and stomp and pound my way through every blues riff I know.

Nice tone too. I like how you threw in the Bukka/Son string slap.

I need to respectfully, but strongly, disagree with you, Lonewolf. You and Zak might not think much of his singing, but you're both totally wrong.. ;)
