She just has to try a little at a time and see what works.

I would get her one of those Squier 51's or Duosonics that fit real close to the body and are very light too. They are less than 200 bucks and well worth it

I would try that before a quack doctor or therapist really messes her up.

no quacks. and a few years back she went to a tmj guy who did such a rough exam on her jaw that he hairline fractured one side! that's a whole nother story.

is that duosonic and squier 51 similar to the fender acoustasonic? we do have a midsize norma f hole electric here that she wants to try for slide and maybe regular play as well. depends on how high the action is.

what we're thinking is, if she does not practice for an hour or more a day most days, and we limit her on stage time to 1 or possibly 2 sets, she will probably be ok.
