Furry Lewis Blues On A 30's Kay Kraft Guitar

Taken from the Furry Lewis version with slightly different verses and some of my own licks thrown in. Played on a 14 fret Kay Kraft guitar from the 30's.

Absolutely love that. Your improv was great and the guitar sounds wonderful.

I'm a rank beginner at fingerpicked blues, and I love Furry Lewis, although I've only got about four of his tunes. I particularly want to be able to play Dry Land Blues.

Apologies if this is obvious, but what tuning is this in? G?

No apology necessary at all. Yes, it's in open G. You can learn some of Furry's tunes from a wonderful DVD put out by Stefan Grossman's Guitar Workshop. John Miller does a real good job of breaking it down.
