Vintage RK Archtop

Anyone know anything about these guitars?

The one I found is $599. The one in the photo above is about $2500. Here are some crappy cell phone pics of the actual guitar. It doesn't appear to be exactly like the one in the photo and there are no other markings on it to tell if it's a Gibson made unit from the same eara or if it's from the 50's or so.

My guess is that if the pick guard has not started to chemically disintegrate, then it does not date back to the 1930s or early 1940s.

I don't know much about it, but I do like the look of the chessboard binding.

Can't really find much info on it, but I'm figuring that is from the 50's or so. Well clear of the era they were made by Gibson. It plays well and has a good tone, I'd probably buy it for $250, but not $600.
