Not fitted them in a tricone, but replaced the non-original one in my Duo for a Hot Rod. Sound better? Oh yes...

Hey Django, did you ever fit your hot rods.
What about the idea of using some of your EQC payout to buy a National? There are usually plenty of good secondhand ones on Ebay.

Hi Kiwi
The "Hot-rods" are on their way [ I hope] from "Pickin Parlour" Can I say, the Hot Rod in my Regal RC2 only gets better n better louder and sweeter, if anybody is thinking about upgrading
I'd say go for it. Apparently the national guitar company restored the turning machinary used in the 1930s and have got the right mix in the alloy. Them dudes surely know how to make great gear.
cheers jim.
my earthquake money will help repair the Grand canyon running through my house
or some other silly project,,,, yeh,,, ebay,,,,you say,,,,mm?

Hope you guys don't have to wait to long. We've got over the magic $100G mark but the land is stuffed so the house may be bowled yet. It all pales into insignificance after whats just happened on the West Coast.
Take care
Brian

Give a call when you're ready to fit them, I'd like to be there to compare them and maybe help out.
