Friendly Martians

Nothin' to do with blues? The name says it all. You might try e-mail or Personal Message, but if those don't work for you, put it here, not in the blues forums above. Thanks!

Friendly Martians

Hello? I'm a friendly Martin, are there any other friendly Martians out there? It's very quiet round here.

It has been slow around here lately. I know I haven't been posting as much as I used to. We need to rally the troops, I think.

There was a film caled Who Dares Wins. There's an Irish version now, rewritten as a mystery. They're calling it Who Dat Dere?

Not at all similar to:
Who Goes There?, a science fiction novella by John W. Campbell, Jr., AKA Don A. Stuart, 1938 Astounding Science-Fiction.
has been adapted three times as a motion picture:
1951 as The Thing from Another World,
1982 as The Thing directed by John Carpenter,
2011 prequel to the Carpenter version. (haven't seen this one)

Just as a coincidence, over on the Soundclick forums, nobody posts much in the Blues/Jazz forum.

Never knew soundclick had forums....
I got several music things posted on soundclick,
maybe I'll check out the forums too.

O speaking of Martians, didn't John Philip Sousa compose a lot of music for them?

I went to Sound clicks forum once. It wasn't very active at the time. All the forums slowed down right along with the economy.
