Get well soon Maxx England

Postby Darowyn » Mon Nov 14, 2011 5:14 pm

I just heard on the bike race forum that my old friend Dan, known on here as Maxx England, is presently in hospital following a mild heart attack.
He has had an operation to fit a stent to a constricted artery, and is doing well.
I'm sure that his friends on here would want to know and would join me in wishing him a full and fast recovery.
He's a daft old bat, but the world would be a worse place without him!
Cheers
Dave

Hello Maxx. I hope you have a speedy recovery. I can assure you, from personal experience, this is just a bump in the road. You'll be back to your old self before you know it.

Take care.

I'm running the engine in according to the instructions. This time next year, world domination. Besides, I have some hooligan noise left inside me that needs to come out before I pack it all in.

Still clanking along, improving daily. Good to have so many people out there wishing me well. Shame they're not RICH people, but you can't have everything.

Appointments for doctor's review of me and rehabilitation session have arrived. This time next year, won't need a rocket, I'll jump into space.

Max,

I just found this forum again after a long time gone. (A crash ate my info) I'm sorry to hear you had a heart attack, and I am glad that you are recovering. I hope you are as well as before the attack soon.

Well, done a couple of gigs, jams, exercise is easy. Still not quite up to beating the daylights out of Superman, but he'd better start looking over his shoulder.

It's possible, I'm not the sort of man who notices very much.

I don't have on on the road right now (saving/plotting to get one) as I've been funding development and parts for the race bike, the CG125, and I can't ride that until I'm off the anticoagulants later this year.
