I think I posted your CD a couple of days after the others David so hang in there mate it should be on its way. I think that I wrote the contents of that one as: 'naked lady that springs out of huge birthday cake'- well it breaks up the monotony at the post office.

Great, my postmaster will appreciate that.

I already have a reputation for sending and receiving mail from other countries (its a VERY small town). The "naked lady" bit ought to make me a folk hero.

I can't wait to display the CD (without letting them hear it) and point out that I am now an internationally known slide player.

Bosco,
Don't worry, your CD is currently en route to your location.
I stuck a "consolation-prize" bonus disc in there, to make up for it being so late.

Houserocker: I told my wife to listen to plenty of rock for the next few days, cuz' when that CD gets here, it's straight BRB for a while. I'm gettin' excited! Hey, have fun t'nite- kick some ass. We're either playin' here, or we're goin' over to this old hotel on the river ( Mississippi) to hear this standup blues guy. I been pumpin' Howlin' Wolf, SBW, Otis S. etc. into my veins all day. Stayed home from work & listened & played. Helluva good hookie day!

I didn't call in sick. I called in disinterested. Usually, the owner's kid is not there on Saturdays, but he took off to go deer huntin' during the week, so he worked today. That gave me all the opening I needed. I cover for that guy all the time, so he tries to keep me happy. Ultimately, he'll prob'ly be the guy that fires me someday, when he starts thinkin' he can get a younger, cheaper guy to do the same thing. He's kind of a fun #####, if you know what I mean.

My copy arrived today!! I've about worn it out already--listening to it right now, as a matter of fact.

I'm not sure the CD project was a good idea. I used to think I was just hanging out with a bunch of folks. Now I've heard what you sound like and I feel like I ought to show more respect.

What a great collection of blues!
