hey this new forum is great. No glitches in the switch that I can see - smooth transition. Thanks a lot Pappy.

Will Rico have to start from scratch again?

I did start from scratch with 0 posts, but a little while later I looked and it said something like 1849...

In the days of old,
in the days of gold
How oft’times I repine

When we dug up the gold,
in the days of ’49.

It started me out at 473 posts after I had more than 3,000. Also noticed the posted pictures from the old software didn't transfer, only their links did.

It's kind of a difficult transition, we've all lost our post-counts, some avatars are missing, the methods for posting pictures and using bold print etc. seem to have changed, the dark-blue text against a dark-blue background is a little bit hard to see...
BUT, thanks to PappyJ for keeping our forum going. All the little glitches will doubtless work themselves out, and I'll probably get the hang of it all soon enough.
Expect a donation soon :)

Where the heck did the "Make a Donation" icon go to,as long as Stumblin' mentioned it? It would be nice to get Pappy a little surge in donations,in gratitude for all the work he's done in the last year with the crash and the switches.
