HOWLIN' WOLF - HOWLIN' THE BLUES: A MISTAKE OF LINER NOTES

Your chance to write big-time blues reviews. Only two rules: First, if you're connected to the band or artist, go to Shameless Promotion; Second, don't write a book -- keep it relatively short and simple, no 1,000+ word epics.

Oh .. and make it fun.

There's a BIG MISTAKE on double cd set "Howlin' the Blues" (you can find it on http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/a ... 28,00.html ). The liner notes of this double cd say that the second cd contains Live in Germany, which is the famous concert recorded in Bremen on 6 november 1964. I think that is true for tracks 1-9 but NOT for remaining 6 tracks (from Highway 49 to Smile at Me) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Searching on the web I discovered that the 6 tracks mentioned probably are Live in London outtakes. What do you think about that? Who's the personnel playing on that tracks ? On that tracks, there're sublime guitar solos (expecially slide guitar) but it isn't clear who plays guitar.
