Buddy Guy and George Thorogood

Your chance to write big-time blues reviews. Only two rules: First, if you're connected to the band or artist, go to Shameless Promotion; Second, don't write a book -- keep it relatively short and simple, no 1,000+ word epics.

Oh .. and make it fun.

Buddy Guy and George Thorogood

I saw these two guys last night, and man, what a show! Buddy Guy was up first, and his set was great. The only thing it was lacking was his polka dot Strat  He also walked through the audience while soloing, and walked right past my chair and was playing guitar right in front of me, which I thought was pretty cool. I also never realised what a good singer he is. I really like his voice.

As for Thorogood. That was amazing. I love his music and think he's a badass guitar player. His setlist was the same as when I saw him two years ago, but this show was way better. The crowd was really into it and you could tell he was having a really fun time. His shows are pretty damn loud too. So all in all, two great concerts last night.
