Not exactly Blues...

Your chance to write big-time blues reviews. Only two rules: First, if you're connected to the band or artist, go to Shameless Promotion; Second, don't write a book -- keep it relatively short and simple, no 1,000+ word epics.

Oh .. and make it fun.

Saw a Travis Tritt show last night with some friends. Great show! He did a variety of styles/genres (southern rock, country, blues, R+B) including a set with just him and his guitar. long and loud, over 2 hours , no break. His band was great with both high power electric slide and square neck resonator slide. He played a bunch of different guitars and I didn't realize before he's a pretty good picker. He touched just about all the style bases and he put a hellova lot of energy in his vocals. Good time for a Thursday night.
