Nice one,
the first real slide track that I tuned into was Vig/Man , done by a great early 70's full on blues rawk Scottish Band called "Nazereth".
Anyway this is a nice series on those questions you have about lp covers.Check ...

One of the first rock albums i ever bought was "Razamanazz" , just 'cos i saw Manny Charlton on T.O.T.P. slidin' on a black Les Paul doin' "Big Big Boy"....Well Good!!!

Another interesting "Vigilante" comes from Bjorn Borge.
This guy is a bit rock-oriented, but as an acoustic slide blues player, I reckon he's pretty good!

Kendawg - Welcome! This site is dominated by sliders (nothing wrong with it, love a great slide) but I notice yer a harpster. Be sure to read the old threads and post your .02 worth on the "Blues Harp" section of the board. Hasn't been much activity there lately and I got tired of talkin' to myself and soundin' like I was an expert.(which I ain't.) I'm a half assed guitar player as well, but been playing the harp much longer and it offers many more opportunities when sitting in or at a jam that already has a lot of quality guitar players. See ya over in "Blues Harp."

went down to the crossroads...

ps: I believe Berge's 'band' on most tracks is a couple of microphones in flight case, which he kicks.
