^What kinda wood will the barnwall be? :)

Yesterday I restrung(?) a vintage (think '60 or older) no-brand acoustic that was brought to my house by someone (me) and this thing has an pretty high action. Like almost 1cm at 12th fret. She's a slider fir sure.
It has a "bad" (read: not clear) sound to it (so cool for delta stuff), probably due to the body that is only a bit larger then a Les Paul body and the fact that the headstock, neck and fingerboard (wich fingerboard?) are all in one piece and of the same wood.
It also has this cool rusted iron resonator alike tailpiece.
I guess I'm gonna slide on her a bit tonight in open G...

For someone whose first language isn't English you speak Blues like a natural.

Hope that slider works out. If you want to know anything about glass slides for an acoustic ask Diamond.

Koa...nice...you should also put a pick-up on it for if you go gig with that barnwall...that'll be a sight to see.

Oh, and MickeyP., thanks for that tip on the glassslide but think I'll be using my chrome and homemade brass for a while
'cause me and glass...
I dunno wanna have that "I cut off a piece of finger blues"
if I can play my 6stringer due to that title...
Maybe later...still thanks for the tip.
And speakin' the blues ain't that much of an effort, it's playin the darn thing that makes me feel like an overloaded mule

You'd have to work at it pretty hard to cut off a finger with a glass slide.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Oct-12-05 AT 06:13 AM (EST)]Don't glass slides give a more brighter sound?
Or am I wrong?
(I personnally like it soundin' more smooth)

Ah who cares, how do I make one myself or can I find a link to were it's explained ? Can I post that question in "Bottleneck..." section or somewhere else?
Thanks already

Slides - keep trying them all - anything with a hard enough surface is fair game.
