Hey guys,

You're all hurtin more than me now!! My mom's o.k. and my back's good today. Sorry Ric about your arm - but glad about the stones (of the kidney variety). That "trouble in mind' tune that bf sent me the mp3 of is cool. I'm not sure how I missed it. For all the novice slide players coming to the site, that tune is a great great model of how simple can sound soooooo cool and complete. It's magic. The first time I played the mp3 I thought that the tabs must have been missing some notes cause my ear was filling in all sorts of gaps. I think that's the point. Let the mind ramble ramble ramble.

I hope moj knows how much we all appreciate this site and what it does for us. I also hope that all the young ones signing up (that is the ones under 50 who haven't been playing badly for 30 years) get the point too.

Hey, I'm sure glad your mom's better!

bf, you didn't send me your "Trouble In Mind" MP3. I feel left out. ;)

How about it? You've got my E-mail. :D

Hey Ric,

If bf doesn't send the file in a couple of days, email me at dwlarson@uoguelph.ca and I'll forward the mp3 file.

Dang! So THAT's the problem! I used to have no problems with big files and such, but lately stuff's been bouncing if I don't clear all my E-mails off daily!

How big is the file?

They tend to be between 2.5M and 4M.

Tonight I'll decongest my server, which is clogged up with stuff I've read but it's still hanging around. That'll solve the problem, I think. :-)

Thanks!

Hi Ric,

I sent three files today, but I know that some of them bounced back. Send me an email when things are clear if you don't already have the files from bf.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jul-10-02 AT 05:40 AM (CST)]Ric,
I sent some stuff to that mac.com address. They seemed to go ok - did you get them?

Hey grzz (sitting there, quietly, in the corner, wondering where your 'hello' thread has gone!) - hello, and welcome!
Sorry about this, but you'll soon realise that there's such a divers collection of minds(?) on this site that things tend a little to digression... It's part of the richness of the site.

It's effectively a text file, .txt (ascci), so Notepad will do it, but any modern word processor that can handle .txt should do it.

What's a 'hot dang', and can you have a cold one?
