Me and Blind Lemon

Postby skibumdog » Sun May 26, 2002 4:16 pm

I was a middle class white boy and then when I was 13 years old my cousin played a Blind Lemon Jefferson record (remember 33 1/3 vinyl??)
and I've been hooked ever since. Started playing guitar at 17, have gone through serious and goof-off phases. Been in a serious phase for 6 years now. So now I'm 54, didn't ever think I'd live this long when I was younger, especially during my year in Vietnam. Still playing the bules and love them res-o-phonics

I am old telemarker with a bad knee, but still do the best I can
Snowboarding looks fun, all the younger kids sure do have a great time with it.

I was with MacV Advisory Team 86 in Tan An in Long An Province at the top of the Delta--the Mekong River Delta. Everybody had the blues there!

Thanks for asking and keep the blues alive
