Greetings from the UK

Hello,

I'm from Suffolk here in the UK, getting on in years,
age 64 and still only an intermediate player.
Can't see me getting much more advanced other than
in years.

I play fingerstyle blues mainly on my Larrivee PO5,
just got 32-20 blues down pat, the Keith Richard version that is.

Used to play a lot of slide till I saw Bob Brozman live,
so my Beltona style O and my Beltona tricone don't see the light of
day so much, come to that neither does my 1939 National Trojan!

For beaters I have a 60's Harmony Sovereign and a 1988 Guild D15,
but the Larrivee is the one that naturally falls to hand.

I'm happy to join you good people.

regards
Ace

ACE! Hi, ya got me by 11 years. I've seen Brozman, and all the rest, but don't let that stop you from slide, these guys would rather commit suicide than be a deterrent. Yeah, we're not in that league, but then again, have you been playing 6 hours a day for the last 20 years? Didn't think so. I can guarantee you they'd much rather be an influence. Get out that goddamn Beltona and slide it!! Hey you live in the land of Diamond Bottlenecks too!

Ahh, welcome to here.

Ace, you need to look in on the Michael Messer site, there's bodies there in Norfolk and Suffolk to talk to and jam with. And never give up on slide, you have your own voice and it's as valid as anyone else's.

And as I said to Henryslim, come down to Swanage in October. Great w/e, free gigs all over.
