New kid on the block

Postby Scrapper Pat » Wed Feb 10, 2010 2:56 pm

Just moved in...... I head up a five piece gigging Chicago blues band out of Wyre Forest, Worcs. UK, called Chicago Bytes. We have four songs on Youtube so, check us out.
Handle the vocals and harp, playing through a Blues Blaster with a bit of tone and reverb.
Hero's are Mr Williamson 2, Papa Lightfoot, Paul Butterfield and the list goes on...
Nice to meet you all,
Scrapper Pat.

Welcome to the zoo, Scrapper. I'm a harper/keyboarder from Southern Minnesota. Good to have another harper around here; we're building up to a quorum again... the plank spankers will start telling harmonica player jokes again if we don't try to keep the playing field somewhat level.

Scrapper, do you have a gig list? I'm only over in Brum, could get out over your way with She Who Wishes To Be Obeyed and the van.

New boys get the booze, by the way, mine's a Norbury Black Bull

Thanks all for getting back, appreciate it.
Maxx, will let you know what we're doing. Don't know what it's like over your way but with so many pubs closing down here, everybodies hustling in a real small pot.
Is that bike pic the real deal, the band have just backed up Steve Payne at the OGRI Kickstart rally down in Cirencester in Glos. 250 bikers, good night, got out of there intact. Couldn't hear one note I played, but what's new?
Catch up soon. Scrapper.

I don't do rallies, I'm a racer on tarmac of cheap bikes.

I'm the one with the Cross of St George on my shoulder on no.59.

Give me a note of when and where you're playing over the summer, I'd like to see you live.
