Fuzzed out electric blues player saying hello

Postby symphonyforthedeaf » Wed Jul 22, 2009 10:51 pm

Hello,

Would just like to introduce myself to the forum, I'm looking forward to discussing all things blues related. My name is Joel, and my one man band is Symphony for the Deaf. I play fuzzed out electric footstomp blues and also build/modify electric guitars and basses.

If you'd like to hear some of my original music, feel free to visit:

or

or my youtube page for videos at:

If you like The Black Keys, The White Stripes, RL Burnside, Jr Kimbrough, you might like my stuff.

As stated before, I build and mod guitars. I'll post some pics in the near future and look forward to sharing methods, materials and buidling secrets with anyone interested.

It is isn't it! Might have to bring a mate down from stoke to translate though...

I've got one amp... and a mate has a 60amp. so I reckon i can get down and annoy some people! though I tend to be acoustic now, and have got a banjo to annoy EVERYONE with!

Thanks for the welcome!

I got a few amps in Cannock for a jam night, just need a location. Fern and Fallow is reopening soon, might try to coax the new owner to let us jam.

If anyone is up for a jam in the West Midlands area, I'm all up for it :)

Really like your music Maxx, the track 'One in Four' sounds great.

They got a decent car park, or is there anywhere nearby safe and off road for an alky to park up for the night?

Welcome

I spent alot of years living in Mississippi and hanging out at Junior's and Ethel's joints and running up to Red's for a bite to eat.

Your Youtube clip had a 1960s Garage Punk Psych vibe going on. So, do ya like the Chesterfield Kings?

Haha... the right number.... though I have been practically wading through the clay between the Ribble and BAE, so who knows what mutations might be happening!
