This Oscar winning movie takes place in Memphis, but it's not about the blues. However, it features Buddy Guy on the soundtrack and one character says (about the music he's helping make) "It's ALL blues!"

What is the movie?

Bonus points if you can tell me who Buddy Guy covers on the soundtrack.

It's not that one with Screamin Jay Hawkins is it? Can't remember the name. There's a pair of Japanese tourists in it if it helps/

No, it's not Mystery Train. It came out in 2005 and its writer/director made a blues themed movie last year.

I almost wrote Hustle and Flow because of the Blues music thats in it, and the fact that it takes place near Memphis. Then I realised Buddy Guy didnt do a song for it. haha.

So now it's my turn to ask a question. I'll need a few minutes.

This one may be easy, but I just learned this.

This famous guitar playing Bluesman got his nickname from his manager because he was playing with Wilson "Thunder" Smith at the time. Can you name this Bluesman.

Who are you calling fairly simple? I know people who can write, you know.

Right, described as a "two fisted piano player", spent more than a third of his life living in various European countries. Who he?

Pine Top Perkins is who I think of when I hear the expression "two fisted piano player", don't know that he ever spent any great amount of time in Europe though.

My guess is Champion Jack Dupree (former boxer who lived in, I believe, Germany or Denmark).
