Who reputedly said: "I never meant to kill [him.] I just meant to shoot him in the back of the head. Him dyin' was between him and the Lord."

Sorry about the delay... Anyway, on with the questions,

What does an album of Tom Waits tunes have to do with the man who introduced Charlie Christian to Benny Goodman?
For the bonus toaster, who produced this album of Waits cover tunes?

Tom produced John Hammond Junior's "Wicked Grin", an album that contains covers to songs (exept the last song) by Waits himself. John Hammond Sr. introduced the amazing Charlie Chritian to Goodman.

Sorry for the delay, it took time for me to think of a question.

Country artists Kelly Willis and Marty Stuart were both guests in a recording by a BLUES harmonica player. This recording is a cover of a song by another famous country musician.

So now try to find the hidden names in that questions..
Who is the harmonica player? Who is the country singer that his song was covered? What's the name of the song?

Good luck.
:)

Indeed. And if I'm not mistaking also in Johnny Cash's "Big River", this one I never heard (I just read the CD review). But Kane's song is the one I meant.
