In Memory of Bobby Bland

Postby MooseMoore » Mon Jun 24, 2013 10:21 pm

Bobby "Blue" Bland passed away
yesterday, June 23rd, after living 83 amazing years.

Bland walked the earth as one of greatest Blues and Soul singers
ever and for very good reason will forever be known as the "Lion of the Blues".

Hearing Bland sing is like having truth and soul
penetrate every part of my being and I love to hear the Lion roar.

Here is my tribute to Bland with hours of Live Video in his honor

My band covers "Turn on Your Love Light." I'm sure we'll be dedicating it to him at our next gig.

Bobby Bland tho not a blues specialist he left us a blues singing lesson on every track he ever recorded. One of the best for sure.
Me I got just only one record by Bobby Blue, a 45 RPM disc with St James Infirmary on one side and Don’t Cry No More on the other side.
