Does anyone know of any sites where a fella can look for artists by song, you know, type in the name of a song and get all the artists who recorded it.

Got just the thing fer ya SRVLIVES:

http://blueslyrics.tripod.com/index.htm

This site has lyrics to a ton of blues songs, and you can look up a song by a number of parameters, Artist or Song Title are two ways. If you look up under Song Title, you will often get multiple artist versions. It's really great.

Good luck and happy hunting...

Thanks muchly Duolian. Now when I think of a song, I can just look up the title, find out who sang it, and add it to my want list. (I have to keep this list hidden so my wife doesn't find it)

btw, did you get my email the other day?

I got it, thanks! I was just a tad busy due to the 4th of July holiday and all. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I just emailed you back. You'll be getting something in the mail soon too, brother...

Many thanks...

Cash,

My pleasure man! Good to see you lurking about. I've been giving the John Hartford tape quite a bit of playtime lately, and I gotta thank you again. I'm looking on eBay for a clean copy on vinyl for the collection, but in the meantime, the tape has been great!

SRVLIVES,

Have you ever checked out OLGA? It stands for the "On Line Guitar Archive." It's got quite a bit of tabliture stuff on there. Some of the Tab stuff isn't perfectly accurate, but many are.

Check it out...
