Henry Thomas and his Pan Pipes (or "Canes" in Bluespeak...)Although they were much more prevelant back then...

Wilbert Harrison and his high hats, harp rack and Guitar, Sterling Magee and HIS high hats and guitar...

I've plugged him to death here, but Matt Corcorans freaky little one-man blues band (http://www.mattsbits.com) is just too damn cool.

I still consider the White Stripes to be blues mavericks of a sort. I'll post a review of their new album sometime soon-ish.
