You guys forgot a few:

Mick Taylor. Loads of great slide stuff with John Mayall and the Stones....
Ry Cooder. Listen to him on the Stones "Sister Morphine".
Paul Barrere (Little Feat). He's carried on the band with some amazing slide playing after Lowell's death.
Earl Hooker. Louisaina Red told me that it was well known that Earl and Robert Nighthawk were THE BEST slide players in Chicago in the Sixties.
Jeremy Spencer - the other guitar player in '68 to '70 Fleetwood Mac
