I think the real topic oughtta be, 'All Forums Are Not Created Equal'... at least that's what I've heard, as far as blues forums go, there is no other!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Dec-14-03 AT 02:42 PM (EST)]Just as The Jerry Seinfeld Show was purportedly a show about nothing, likewise this forum seems to be a forum about nothing.

And yet....look at all the conversation it's generating! What a group--you guys are very entertaining (as well as very informative when you want to be).

BRB--a great place to share................
nothing.

"Doesn't this thread belong int the WAY OFF TOPIC section?"

No - because most of the 21 posts preceding this one have been

a. - "On Topic" (to adapt the rather quaint phraseology used in describing the suggested alternative), in that they responded to the initial posting, and

b. - appropriate to the "This vs That" conference, the intended nature of which is indicated by the words: "Player vs. player, version of song vs. version of song, Godzilla vs. Tokyo".

So, how about Godzilla vs Tokyo?

And CAS has a point... He might! (Might what?)

Godzilla vs Tokyo? Well the big lizard has stomped the place about 50 times already and it still pops up ready for more. And that's without counting Gamera, Rodan et.al. I'm betting the farm on Tokyo.

Ah, J-Ro,
If you've seen the same footage of Godzilla vs. Tokyo that I've seen, perhaps you've noticed that all the skyscrapers seem to be made out of stacks of cardboard boxes with windows painted on.
Either this is some kind of anti-earthquake architectural measure, or the footage to which we have been exposed may be some kind of cynical hoax. Have you also noticed how, in some photos, Godzilla's fingers seem fatter than usual?
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but...

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Dec-15-03 AT 09:49 AM (EST)]I had heard from a very reliable source that the reason for the fat fingers in some scenes and still shots was from a sometimes severe case of phlebitis. The low budgets didn't allow for either the time or money necessary for the massage therapy the creature needed regularly.

Reminds me of the all time classic line from the Honeymooners-

Ralph: "I'm the King, Alice.....you're nothing."

Alice: "That's right, Ralph.....you're the King of nothing!"

cheers,

Also, how's about 'Blues News and Gossip' Vs 'Talking Blues' or 'Recommending the Blues' vs 'The Best...' maybe it's just me but I can't see any noticeable difference. If a few of them were combined then it would make things easier for simple folk like myself :)
